You Are Beautiful Just As You Are

This post is inspired by Stephanie Snyder at Urban Flow Yoga in San Francisco.

Who are you? Do not define yourself by the things that can change – material possessions, age, career, gender.

Stephanie shared this message with a recent yoga class. It resonated with me and I wanted to share it with you.

“Look inside, love yourself. See the fire burning in your heart. What do you want to share with others from that place? When you love, you cannot fear. Without fear, you cannot be angry.”

We have all felt fear or anger at different times in our lives. What grounds us is being in touch with our true authentic selves?

I feel most out of control when I am living out of harmony with who I really am. When I love who I am and I share that with others, it makes sense. It feels good. Others respond well to me. Find your true authentic self outside of all of those things that can change. Who are you really? What do you really want? For yourself? For humanity? How can you share that with others? This is the place from which we experience transformation.

What’s possible when you open up your heart to others? I look forward to seeing, knowing, and experiencing the beauty in all of you.
